So if you’ve noticed
WHY WOULD YOU? I haven’t been posting much on my tumblr since coming back to school. Oh well.
Regardless, expect more pictures in the FUTURE! Stony Brook Iron Chef Competition:
HERE. I. COME.
Now, normally I don’t reblog any posts to
maintain the “theme” of my Tumblr.
However, this time I made an exception. A simple reblog/like/follow can make a small, but significant difference.
It’s times like these, when we as people need to help those in need. A friend of mine has lost contact with some of his family members that live near the areas that were affected by the earthquake and tsunamis. My friends and I are praying for him and his family—for their safety and for their future.
And as for the whole conspiracy:
9/11/01 + 3/10/11 = 12/21/12
Don’t be retarded… It happened on the 11th, not the 10th—read the news. Also 9/11 wasn’t a natural disaster… it was a hijacking. Don’t let some dumb, terrible movie make you all paranoid.
Yes. I am aware, that today isn’t Friday. Hence… my pun doesn’t really work. Pity. :(
I was going to wait ‘til Friday to post those pictures of the scrumptious, chewy, warm doughnuts… but I couldn’t resist. Kind of like how I couldn’t resist eating them all instantly after taking pictures of them. I just ripped one in half, and BAM! a nice puff of steam and an irresistible aroma just… POW!
And these AIN’T YO TYPICAL DUNKIN DONUTS DOUGHNUTS. Haha. They’re not made with runny cake batter-like dough. Instead its made with rice flour,
and the shit won’t stop sticking to your fingers and it has an addictive chewy consistency when it’s cooked/baked/fried.
Basically… it’s the shit.
Four more days ‘til I go back to school! And
at least two more posts to go, to fulfill my winter break goal… kinda.
This 40-day break has been amazing, eye-opening, interesting, and boring… but mostly boring, since all my friends left for school over a week ago.
It’s weird how, AFTER I decided to change my blog’s name from
"s(e)oul food" to "(dan)telope," I make more Korean food and post it up here.
Meh. I’m sure I’ll go back to my typical non-Asian style of cooking/baking/
Oh… and in my recent photo post… those aren’t really dumplings. I didn’t know what to call them. They’re just steamed dough… things. Sort of like noodles. I don’t know. Nevertheless, it’s tasty!
For someone, who’s goal during winter break, was to resurrect their Tumblr, I fail.
These past weeks, I’ve been out on retreats, ski trips, and random adventures
getting lost in friends’ cars.
And though I made a lot of stuff, I
didn’t care forgot to take pictures.
BUT FEAR NOT. For the remainder of this break I will post AT LEAST
SIX…THREE MORE POSTS!!! YEAHHH~
(And why the change in name from “s(e)oul food” to “(dan)telope”?
I barely ever made actual Korean/Asian food… and this one has my name in it. :D)
